"The Wii faced many obstacles in September, including: hardware constraints, strong first party titles on other consoles, no strong releases of its own platform, announcements of software bundling and price cuts from its competitors, and a gimmicky raison d'etre with some lame @ss games."
For now anyway.
My advice sell your stock. the most recent tech bubble is on the verge of collapse, and that coupled with the deflating real-estate market bodes for an economic collapse that makes 1976 look like Sony and Cher.
Google is $600+ a share! C'mon. What capital or real assets does it have. $600+ for a marketing tool!?
Does it really make sense that Google stock is worth more than the big three stocks combined and Coca-Cola and HP?
From having to play some seriously kick-@ss games on the 360!
Life is so hard :(
Cause did we not just see an article like 67% of Wii owners have not used it in the past month.
That's indicative of ongoing success.
Wii: "Coming to Used Gaming Stores and Pawn Shops Near You!"
I didn't like Halo 1 or 2 because of complete 'ownage' all the time. The 3rd one is great. The multi-player is awesome.
But ya I'm still getting owned
Ya right up there with "Jimmy is going to Pole that Cat" and "Mudflaps and Chow"
I've never even heard that song before.
Try EB Games or E-Bay Used. People buy them cause they're having a big party, play it for two weeks afterwards and then box them.
Or the kids are crying for it, parents buy it, kids then see Halo 3 or Resistance at Jimmy's house and moan until parents buy the real-gaming system.
The shortage is contrived
So astonished that I almost wet my pants laughing when I saw that it headed up this list.
C'mon.
But releasing this package without a hard drive is absolutely stupid. I feel sorry for anyone that mistakenly decides to pick this up.
That even with the 360's issues it stills wipes the floor with the PS3. What does that say about your system?
Oh but I imagine the response will be "Oh just wait...!"
Yeah, well that refrain is real tiresome.
Have fun playing Warhawk. It does look really good. But keep in mind that over 980,000 we're playing Halo 3 last night, and not all of those folks can be wrong in making the choice to buy a 360.
The majority rules. PS...
No. More like nip away at.
Jesus comes back to earth and says, "Hey to get into heaven you have to buy a PS3!"
It's one thing to be hopeful, ;it's another to be hopelessly naive.
Read my psot above
Read my post above about Sony fans losing all objectivity.
You see I'm a gamer. I love great games. If Halo is a success that's great because it creates a greater venue to challenge my skills (or more accurately my lack of them) against more people.
I don't give a rats ass about MS financial woes. I just want to game. It's not as if I own stock, or my uncle works there. As long as they're not going to go broke and stop putting out games I don't care -and that is not about to happen.
You can love a company's services but ...
:P
This seriously lacks some appeal for me
Stupid Amsterdam!
Battlestations is a fantastic tactical WW2 simulation.
Two Worlds, once you've gotten past the interface , and the the first hour is really good. I enjoy it more than Oblivion.
The rest of the games you mention....I haven't played them all but ya some of them did suck. But thats a list of 10 out of how many available games 130+.
At elast there's a substantial catalogue to pick from.
It looks like those balls that you give to toddlers to improve their dexterity. They put the block shapes through the holes and then you can pull the ball apart and the blocks come tumbling out.
Damn close approximation.
WTG Sony! On the cutting edge of hip!
